If only …, I would never shop some place else.
I just came back from a business trip in Paris last month. Of course I had a wonderful trip except one thing … I didn’t buy enough. It was too late when I found that out - unpacking pieces by pieces - at home.
Lucky me. I happened to have to go to Paris during one of the two big sale seasons: in January and between in June and July. I was there in June and July and experienced the big sales. There were crowded everywhere. The city was full of parisians as well as tourists. Never mind people, go right ahead into the store - I promise to list all the stores down below. Select a few pieces, take them and get in line right in front of the fitting room area. Always choose more than what you want just to save your time going in and out.
Don’t forget the cash-back tax regulations
After you spend 1,200 FF or more in the same store in the same day, and if you are tourist live outside of the EEC can request for a VAT deduction. The store staff has to fill out a "bordereau de vente a l’exportation". You have to have the form stamped by the customs at the airport and mail it back to the store.
Here are the list of the stores and their addresses:
